Teresa A. “Terry” Barron, 71, died Tuesday, June 20, 2023, due to complications related to glioblastoma. She spent her final days at Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers with her loving family by her side. Terry was born April 7, 1952, in Beverly, MA. She grew up in Beverly Farms with her dear sister Elaine, and brothers Frankie and Lenny. Terry's primary goal in life was to be a mother and raise her family with former husband Dr. Robert D. Barron. All who knew her could attest to the fact that she was the most devoted and loving mother to her four children, Eric and his wife Amy, Holly and her husband Matt, Adam and his wife Laura, and Nicole. Terry's heart grew even more when she became a Mimi to her five beloved grandchildren; Colby, Aubree, Ayla, Elowen, Arlo, and granddog, Chip. Terry’s compassionate heart stretched beyond her family, as she was always welcoming and greeted everyone with her beautiful smile. Her warmth and loyalty to her friends resulted in multi-decade friendships that she cherished deeply. Terry was diagnosed with glioblastoma on September 1, 2021. She was treated at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and did everything in her power to keep this terminal disease at bay. While living with cancer, Terry faced each challenge with resilience, strength, positivity, and grace. Terry leaves behind her legacy of love in her children and grandchildren. A private celebration of life event will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, please send a gift to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Terry’s memory to support Dr. David Reardon and Dr. Rameen Beroukhim's research: Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O.
