Guestbook

  1. Dearest Ung. Theresa,
You have had a remarkable life.
I felt blessed and honored to be a part of it.
I thank you for all you have taught me, your commitment to your family, our church and ARS.
I will miss you and our weekly calls. Rest in peace, my friend. .. Asdvadz Hokid Loosavoreh. Sharké

  2. I have a vivid memory of Aunty Theresa (REALLY DOLLY). When she was a young single woman she owned a 1940’s era Ford two door sedan which was LILLY WHITE, and everytime we children of her family visited her or she visited us, Aunty Dolly would round all us kids into her LILLY CAR and take us all out for ice creams. Those of us left still reflect on those sweeter and more peaceful times.

You had a very wonderful life, Aunty Dolly, filled with much love and kindess of which you were in receipt, and of which you and your wonderful husband, Uncle Dave, so graciously bestowed upon everyone you encountered.

    Rest Peacefully, Aunty.
Greg & Donna and all of our family.

  3. Steve and I were very fortunate to have known Dolly all these years through Donna and Greg. She always shared such wonderful stories and was always smiling. May God Bless you sweet Dolly. Chris & Steve Cragan

  4. A warm generous lady, who loved family and friends, animals and New England. Theresa was the best tour guide of the Massachusetts sea coast and lobster shacks. One of our favorite memories was of Thresa stopping in the middle of a village street to call a stray, wandering dog and pet it from her car window!

Always fun traveling with her, competing at board games and cards, listening to her recount fascinating stories from her younger years. We love you and you’ll always be in our hearts.

  5. It’s not often to follow a friend throughout a life time. It’s not often to remember a close friend you have not seen in decades. My sister Anahid Varadian and I Varoujan Karentz grew up with the Kaloustian Family. In fact we lived on the same street.

Theresa was Dolly, her mother our Armenian teacher and her brother and sister’s part of neighborhood community in Edgewood Rhode Island of about 20 Armenian families banded together. The generation was made up of survivors of the 1915-1923 massacres where in their homelands in Turkey. Over 1.5 million Armenians were killed because they were Christians.

Dolly’s father opened up a Grocery Store within 5 minutes distance to their home on Smith street and all the family joined in as clerks.

Dolly went on and as did other members of the family joined the Armenian Youth Organization. She startled many on her approach to organization and dedication, which made her a favorite within her peers. Always a leader. always humorous, always dedicated to a cause.

She was so loved that when she moved to Massachusetts the friendship and communications continued especially with my sister Anahid and her daughter Diana.

I will never forget her over 90 years as a close friend and her contribution to our neighborhood. May she rest in peace.

  6. My deepest and heartfelt condolences to the family and loved ones of Theresa “Dolly” Brundage.

If not for Dolly’s kindness and generosity, I would not have in my prized-possessions photos of my beloved mother Rose (Kalousdian) Plantaus as well as photos of my grandparents, Riel and Nicholas Kalousdian and uncles, George and Malcom.

In her supreme diligence, Dolly also obtained and sent photos of my mother Rose, my brother, Dale and me as a babe in my mother’s arms of which I never had a photo of me as a baby! These precious photos are framed, displayed and will be cherished forevermore.

I will miss the most our telephone conversations when Dolly, with her quirky sense of humor would have me rolling in laughter and leave me with a smile.

Rest in Peace Dearest and Lovely Lady, Theresa “Dolly” Brundage.
