Theresa E. (Anasoulis) Doyle, 82, died Sunday, January 12, 2014 in her home. She was the wife of the late John R. Doyle, with whom she shared forty-seven year of marriage. Born in Lynn on Jan. 7, 1932, she was raised and educated there and was a graduate of Lynn English High School. A longtime resident of Danvers and Wenham, She had been employed in administration for various companies before raising her family, and also worked as a hairdresser and was a real estate agent in the area for twenty years prior to her retirement. Above all, she was a dedicated homemaker, loving mother and grandmother who was a second mother to many others. She enjoyed travel, dancing, and card games, and was an animal lover known for her spontaneous nature, positive attitude, and the gift of putting others before herself. Her kind personality was full of wisdom and wit. She leaves her children, John R. Doyle of Beverly, Frank W. Doyle and his wife Sharon of Georgetown, Brenda G. Nowers and her husband Kenneth of Georgetown, and Lisa L. Zaia and her husband Frank of West Newbury, her grandchildren, Patrick and Shawn Doyle, Richie Ferullo, Gregory, Bradford, and Kimberly Nowers, Jessica and Anthony Perelli, and Nicholas Zaia, and many nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Service will be Friday, January 17, 2014 at 10AM in Holy Trinity United Methodist Church, 16 Sylvan St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Wenham Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are Thursday from 3:30-7:30PM in C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. In lieu of flowers, donations in Terry’s name may be made to the MSPCA, 350 South Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02130.

  11. That was the BEST procession I have ever driven! My son Matt called to ask a roofing question while I was following the leader and I told him I think we’ve been hijacked. How cool that Terry orchestrated that! Private note to J.D. Matt said they were prob using your van’s GPS and taking “the long way home”. Such a sad time but what a beautiful tribute to one of my (and Ronnie’s) favorite Mom’s in the whole world. Love to you all, Cheryl Oliphant and sons
