Theresa G. Finley

Theresa G. Finley, 96, died Sunday, April 12, 2020 at the Rosewood Nursing Center in Peabody.

Born in Salem on Nov. 12, 1923, she was the daughter of the late George and Severine (Fournier) Oullette. She was raised and educated in Salem and was a graduate of St. Joseph Academy.

Following her marriage to the late John M. Finley, she moved to Oklahoma where they started a family and farmed. Years later she returned to the North Shore and was a longtime Salem resident.

She was employed as an investigator with the IRS.

An accomplished violinist, Mrs. Finley played with the Boston Symphony Orchestra.

She leaves her children, James D. Finley of Oklahoma and Rosemary Lavoie and her husband Louis of Peabody, three grandchildren, Benjamin, Julie, and Mark Fournier, a great-grandson, Jacob Founier, and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her siblings, her twin brother Gerald Brault, Robert and Richard Brault, and Irene Michaud.
