Therese Anne “Terry” (Levesque) Baxter, 59, returned home to God on August 21, 2012 and is now embraced by Our Lord Jesus Christ. She was the beloved wife of Philip H. Baxter with whom she shared 34 years of marriage. Born in Salem on March 26, 1953, she was the daughter of Jeanne (LaPorte) Levesque of Beverly and the late George H. Levesque. She was raised and educated in Salem and graduated from St. James High School and went on to graduate from North Shore Community College. Terry was extremely active within her parish community of Saint Mary of the Annunciation in Danvers. She was a member of the ALPHA program, Eucharistic Ministry and the Prayer Blanket Ministry. Terry is also survived by her sons, Timothy P. Baxter of Stoneham and Kevin R. Baxter and his wife Andrea of Attleboro, her siblings, Denise Ventresca of New Port Richey, FL, Celeste Broderick of Johns Island, SC, Robert Levesque of Salisbury and Janice Morrissey of Unionville, CT and many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be on Thursday from 4-8PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at 11AM in St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, 24 Conant St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Danvers. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made in Terry’s memory to her parish, Saint Mary of the Annunciation Church, 24 Conant St., Danvers, MA 01923. Such donation will be used to establish an appropriate memorial item in remembrance of Terry.
