Tuc Phan, 67, of Danvers, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 10, 2011. He was the loving husband of Kim (Ha) Phan, with whom he shared 34 wonderful years of marriage. Born in Hue, Vietnam on Dec. 14, 1943, he was raised and educated in Vietnam and served honorably in the army of the former Republic of Vietnam. He was an intelligence officer and member of the Special Forces Unit. Mr. Phan came to the United States in 1975 and earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University, where he was a charter member of the Vietnamese Student Association. For nearly twenty-five years, he was employed by B&W Press of Georgetown. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, and was an avid Bruins fan. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Tony Phan and his wife Sandy of Danvers, Tina McLaughlin and her husband Marc of Boston, and Timothy Phan of Danvers, and a loving extended family. His Funeral Service will be held Saturday, August 20, 2011 at 9AM in C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Danvers. Visiting hours are Friday from 5-9PM in the funeral home.
