Vito Dattoli

Vito Dattoli, 65, peacefully passed away on February 11, 2014 at Twin Oaks Nursing Home in Danvers.
Born in Italy on May 15, 1948, he was the son of the late Domenico and Elisa (Cotoia) Dattoli. Vito served in the Italian Army. He moved to the United States in 1972. Vito worked at Calitri’s Restaurant and the former Romie’s Restaurant for many years. He also had been employed with several nursing homes and other restaurants throughout the years. Vito enjoyed the outdoors. He loved to garden and take long walks.
He is survived by his son Domenico Dattoli and his partner Jennifer Devoe, of Salem, two sisters, Maria Ciruolo of Danvers and Dora Gagnon and her husband, Joseph, of Danvers, a grandson, Donovan Dattoli, several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his sister, Antonietta Manserra.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9AM on Saturday, February 15, 2014 in St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, Conant St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery, Danvers. Visiting hours are Friday from 4-7PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in Vito’s name to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN, 38105.
