Our thoughts and prayers are sent to all Mike’s loved ones..there are many, in so many places. I remember fondly the times shared in the “old days” with the whole Cullen clan…I always felt I was a member of the family. Imagine being in Bridgeton Academy with Mike….he taught more in the chemistry class than the teacher did. He played football for the first time in his life as a kicker with his specialized square toe kicking shoe and I was lucky to be his holder in a few games (he was the hockey team goalie and captain, but everybody knows that)! Karen and I were lucky to catch up with Mike in Key West a couple of times and have some great stories .. That giant classic Cadillac with the “JARHEAD” license plate was unforgettable transportation down Duval Street! Mike was a a great friend who left us with smiles and memories . He had so many of those great qualities to admire ….a patriot and Vietnam veteran, an amazing student and athlete, a lifelong Boston sports fan, and a fun friend who we enjoyed being around. Key West has lost one of Danvers’ best…Rest in peace after a long journey. Karen and Bob Larrabee
