  1. Dad,

You were a Boy Scout in your youth and lived by the Boy Scout motto of Be Prepared throughout your life. You were always prepared with a kind word or act, a smile, a laugh, and a good story or joke. You helped family, friends, and strangers alike. You taught us all to live our lives happily and without regret, knowing that we have done our best. You did your best and you were the best!

    Love you tons,
    Carole & Kolby

  2. I will always remember all the good times we had in Maine. Early morning fishing off the dock. Always having to dive for your tools when you dropped them while fixing the boat motor. You were a great dad. We always had a lot of fun. There are so many great memories! Love you dad… I’m looking at you! You will be greatly missed! Love always ❤️PJ

  3. Paula and family,

Out thoughts and prayers are with you all. Our only regret is that we never had the honor of meeting your wonderful Dad. May your love and all your happy memories give you comfort in this time of loss.

    Love, Cathryn and Glynne

  4. I am so grateful and appreciative for having met you, and getting to know you a bit. Whenever you and your lovely wife came over to visit Carole and I would see you, you had a smile on your face, gave the best hugs, and always had a twinkle in your eye ! I am sure that you will be missed terribly, but know that you made your mark as being a truly wonderful man…and will always live on in everyone’s heart with special memories… HUGS!!

  5. Dear Carole and Family,
My deepest sympathy to you and your family. I know how important your Dad was to you.
    Love, Sue

  6. Hi Dad,

You are always in my thoughts. Many people have shared stories and memories of your kindness toward them. I am so proud that you are so fondly remembered by so many – even casual acquaintances. You left a positive impression!

You are always in my heart, Willie Henry.

  8. Hi Grampy,

I am sad you had to go but I am glad you are no longer sick. I won’t forget all the fun we had playing catch. I was always happy when you came over to play. You’re the best Grampy.

Maybe you can play catch in Heaven with my big bro, Koda.

    Love us tons,
    Kolby

  9. Hi Dad,

I remember being young and going with you to drop off orders to your customers. Everyone called you “Uncle Bill” – your customers, your customers’ families, and even your customers’ employees. I always remembering asking how these people were related to us and you would always laugh and smile. Your kindness and personality really touched people.

You were everyone’s’ favorite “Uncle Bill” and I feel blessed that you were my Dad!

    Rest in peace!

    Love you,
    Sweetpea

  10. Hi Grampy,

I miss sitting on your lap and playing catch with you. I’ve been hanging out on your favorite chair in my house. It makes me feel close to you.

    Love,
    Kolby
