William J. Brennan

February 5, 1938 ~ September 20, 2015
William J. Brennan, 77, died Sunday morning, September 20, 2015 in the Kaplan Family Hospice House surrounded by his beloved family. He was the loving husband of Claire J. (Frisone) Brennan, with whom he shared 56 years of marriage.
Born in Lynn on Feb. 5, 1938, he was the son of the late Harold and Catherine (Leonard) Brennan. He was raised and educated in Lynn and was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School.
A Danvers resident since 1972, Mr. Brennan was employed in sales most of his life.
An avid Boston sports fan, he was a great Red Sox fan.
In addition to his wife, he leaves two children, Lisa Brennan of Peabody and Michael Brennan and his wife Sequoyah of Somerville, his siblings, Robert Brennan of Peabody, Ann Mucci of Lynnfield, and Joseph Brennan and Mary Padgett, both of Florida, and many nieces and nephews.
His Funeral Service will be Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2015 at 11AM in C.R. Lyons & Sons Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. Relatives and friends are invited. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10-10:45AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Care Dimensions, 75 Sylvan St., Danvers, MA 01923 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
