DANVERS- David B. Johnson, 63, passed away on June 14, 2023 in Beverly Hospital following a brief illness. He was the husband of Deborah Gianatassio with whom he shared 16 years of marriage. Born on December 15, 1959, he was the son of the late Harold and Eleanor (Couture) Johnson. David was raised and educated in North Andover and graduated from North Andover High School. He was employed as a laboratory technician at I.T.W.in Danvers for 25 years. David enjoyed hunting, playing horseshoes and cornhole. He especially loved spending time with his family and camping in New Hampshire. In addition to his wife, Deborah, he is survived by his daughter Nicole Burke-Roblero and her husband, Exal Roblero of Salem, two stepchildren, Travis Gianatassio of Beverly and Shandelle LeBlanc of Salem, his brother Stephen Johnson of NH, sister, Marcia Piazza of FL, two grandchildren, James Burke and Darrian Harris and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son David Johnson, Jr. His Visitation will be held from 4-6PM on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directod,28 Elm St., Danvers. Following the visitation, the family invites you to join them at Salem's Retreat, 96 North St., Salem. All other services are private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in David’s name to a charity of one’s choice.
