Edna G. Hallen

Edna G. Hallen, 100, of Peabody, died Monday, March 31, 2014. She was the wife of the late Arthur R. Hallen. Born in Somerville on Feb. 26, 1914, she raised and educated in Somerville and was a graduate of Saint Clement’s High School. She enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling, especially to Siesta Key, Florida. She leaves two daughters, Marilyn Orthman and her husband Bernie of Peabody and Janice Monaghan and her husband Lawrence of Florida, her grandchildren, Sean Malone and his wife Tara, Timothy Malone, David Monaghan and his wife Patty, and Deborah Donahoe and her husband Brian, and three great-grandchildren, Lilah, Matthew, and Michael. As requested, funeral services will be held privately and there are no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers and in Edna’s honor, tell your family that you love them.
