Lorraine A. (Dzierzak) Albiero, 84, of Danvers, passed away on July 11, 2024.
Born in Danvers on June 17, 1940, she was the daughter of the late John and Julia (Tyburc) Dzierzak. The oldest sibling of the Dzierzak family from Liberty Street. She graduated from Holten High. She worked at the Orpheum Movie Theater in downtown Danvers, at Sylvania and Hogan Regional. She earned a license as a Practical Nurse. For nearly 40 years, she worked at Salem Hospital and Spaulding Rehab where she was highly regarded by her peers as detailed, intuitive, caring and kind. She left a lasting impression on them and the patients she cared for.
In retirement, she renovated an historic Couch House on Ash St., a large project she was most proud of. She recently inspired the Women of the Polish Club to have a fundraising Dance to support victims in Ukraine.
Lorraine was always elegant, polished and poised. She loved ballroom dancing, matching ball gowns, shoes and hats. She loved old Movies, movie theaters and Ice cream. She was a great listener, a solid friend and will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
