So sorry for your loss. Mike had a joyful spirit that made it a pleasure to be around him! He will be missed.
A sad sad moment for you and your family and all of us who knew Mike. He was such a wonderful person and all remembrances of him will be warm and kind. He was the best in all regards.
Miss you already Mike! Love, Paula
Dear Andrea and Family, Please accept our sympathy at this time. We are friends of Jean Thatcher and we have a small sailboat which we use on a nearby lake. Jean knew my husband would enjoy the journals/logs of your sailing adventures and and forwarded them on to us. We read them eagerly knowing you two were having the adventure Chip would like to have but never would. May treasured memories of all you have shared with Mike sustain you at this time. Most sincerely, Karen and Chip
We miss you lots Grandpa!!! Thank you for all you did. We LOVE YOU LOTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dear Andrea and family, it is with sadness to learn of Mike’s passing this morning from Selen. I had the opportunity to work with Mike for only a short time in Hong Kong but I can always remember his great attitude, passion for work and willingness to help. We will miss him…and the long emails of both of your conquests at sea and exciting adventures on land. Bon voyage and farewell Mike. Sincerely, Emily and John
