Raymond A. Martineau, 52, died November 21, 2010 at Twin Oaks Nursing Home. Born in Salem and a resident of Danvers he was the son of the late Raymond W. and Annette (Ouellette) Martineau. Raymond was a 1976 graduate of Danvers High School and received an associate’s degree in Culinary Arts from Essex Agricultural and Technical Institute in 1978 as well as Plastics Training from Greater Lowell Regional Vocational Technical School in 1983. He worked in culinary arts at Romie’s Oyster House, Bake and JoyFoods and worked in plastics for Textron Defense Systems of Wilmington, and G.I. Plastek of Newburyport. He was most recently employed by Home Made Brand Foods of Newburyport. Raymond was a member of St. Richard’s Parish and Knights of Columbus in Danvers. Raymond enjoyed good food, discussing current events, relaxing on the beach, listening to Jazz music and dancing at Spectrum Adult Day Center. He will be remembered for his great smile, gentle manners and willingness to help others. He is survived by his two sisters, Colette A Braga and her husband Jack of W. Bridgewater, MA and Marie Glaros and her husband George or Beverly and 5 nephews, Joseph and Charlie Braga, Theodore, Andrew and Nicholas Glaros. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at 9AM in Saint Richard Church, 90 Forest St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery, Danvers. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 5-8PM in C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square.
