My name is Graham Mckee (from Glasgow / Scotland). I had the honour/ pleasure of meeting Mammy Varian in the early 90’s when working for Motorola / East Kilbride/ Scotland: my amazing Boss: Dave Tait, sent me for training following successful completion of my apprenticeship. I will never ever forget meeting Carole! She was simply my U.S.A Mammy… she literally Mothered me as a young 21 year old on his 1st big trip across the pond ! I wanted for nothing with her & she was so naturally caring & so so kind & loving. She gave me this Christmas tree bauble & (in her sweet voice) said to me “hang this on your tree in Scotland & every year : think of me” . It’s now 2026 & here I am Carole thinking of you… not with tears but with happy thoughts & a sense of peace that you instilled / “implanted” in me & others. They say you are still alive if people still say your name !! I know you still live in your beautiful daughter & grand children: who I know meant the world to you. May your legacy continue to grow & my love to all your family & those who still carry you warmly in their hearts…. Many many people loved you very much indeed! You had such a zest for life … we can all learn from you & take a leaf from your book ❤️
