Patrice A. Joyce

Patrice Ann Joyce, 90, of Brooksby Village, Peabody, died Monday evening, March 13, 2023 at Beverly Hospital.
Born in Danvers on July 2, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Leona (Loiselle) Joyce. She was raised and educated in Danvers and was a 1950 graduate of Holten High School. She later graduated from the Katharine Gibbs School.
Pat was employed for forty-two years by New England Electric System and National Grid until the time of her retirement.
An avid reader, she enjoyed sewing and golfing.
She leaves a sister, Sally Milne, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings Elaine Joyce, Pauline Kowalski, Margaret Moreau, and Robert Joyce.
A graveside service will be held Monday, March 20, 2023 at noon in Annunciation Cemetery, 155 Hobart St., Danvers. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are Sunday from 3-5PM in C.R. Lyons & Sons Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. In lieu of flowers, donations in Pat’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105. I had the privilege of caring for Patrice for 18 years. She was an intelligent and insightful person who appreciated what she had and lived her life on her terms. She had an independent spirit but enjoyed and cherished her family. I will remember our many conversations together fondly.
